Instructables
Mike Jefferies of Near Chaos Robotics has created a set of instructables of his bot building process. Good place to get an idea of the internals of the bots and what goes into making your own bot from scratch
Facebook Combat Robotics Group
This Facebook group is a great place to research questions from other builders and ask questions of your own. This group has exploded in popularity in the past few years with the return of Battlebots, so there's a lot of information to sift through, but is probably the best single place for information about combat robotics.
